Drawing on his decades of experience with Japan, Andy plans and leads tours for overseas visitors to Japan. Much of his work is through Esprit Travel, one of the top Japan tour specialists, serving small groups of up to about 15 people.
Andy specializes in food tours such as Cuisine & Culture of Japan (visiting foodie destinations Tokyo, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe) and Cuisine & Culture of Western Japan (from Nagasaki, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Miyajima and their beautiful countryside surroundings).
In early 2020, he led the first Cuisine & Culture of Indochina Tour to northern and central Vietnam (Hanoi, Hoi An and environs) and Laos, based in the ancient capital of Luang Prabang and along the Mekong River system.
Andy also does custom tour planning for visitors to Japan.
