“No one walks in LA?” So three decades ago. For five hours this Sunday, some 10 miles of normally car-crowded Los Angeles streets will be closed to vehicular traffic and turned into a massive block party for cyclists, pedestrians, joggers, even stilt-walkers. Along the route will be entertainment and events from Indonesian gamelan players to art and architecture walks, dodge ball, life-size chess and street foods. And because this is LA, you can valet park your bike if you want.
