There have been few game-changers in the world of air travel over the last few decades, but the super-jumbo A380 aircraft seems poised to be one, if early news from first-class cabins is any indication. Singapore Airlines became the first to fly the A380 last autumn, and Qantas and Emirates have also put these two-decker aircraft into service, with significant upgrades to the passenger experience. “Our passengers in first class lead first-class lives on the ground,” says Singapore Airlines spokesman James Boyd. “Our goal is to enable them to live those lives inflight.”
